Geocache Description:

Located on Rougey walk, over looking the Atlantic ocean

Fairy Bridges and Rougey walk


Located in the seaside town of Bundoran, this is a walk that hugs the Atlantic ocean and takes you round the top of some fantastic cliffs. To one side the Atlantic ocean and the other Bundoran town backed by Benbulben mountain.
From the walk it is possible to see across the ocean to Rossnowlagh and on a clear day it is possible to look right across to Killybegs.



Bundoran is regarded among the surfing world as one of Europes top surfing locations and often it is possible to see some surfers in action.



Close to the cache location the fairy bridges can be found, these are rock bridges formed by the erosion of rock by the waves.

The walk itself is fully paved and suitable for wheelchair users, however it is quite steep in parts. The cache is located off the path and is not wheelchair accessible.

The cache is a magnetic nano to be found a short distance from the paved path. The area is heavily muggled in the summer and as it is close to unguarded cliffs children should be kept close at all times.

From the car park follow the path to grab the cache, from here follow the path on around the cliffs toward the beach take a left and keep walking straight at road until you come back round to KFC where you can again turn left to return to car park.
