New series of caches....Back to Basics. When we started caching there were alot of traditional ammo boxes hidden on trails and out-of-the-way places. Nowadays the sport has evolved into alot of urban and parking lot micro caches. So this series will take some of you back to the olden days of geo-caching where you'll discover some nice trails and views that you may not have known existed.
You are looking for an ammo-box that is stocked well with goodies, some for kids, some for adults. Cache hidden between a snowmobile trail and white trail of FLT (Finger Lakes Trail). Map M13: Goundry Hill Road.....for those interested. Please recover well, so as not to be seen easily. Please BYOWI (bring your own writing instrument), as I forgot to leave one....sorry.
I don't think there are posted hours but I would limit to daytime searching for safety reasons, as this is a state forest and probably alot of nocturnal wildlife.
