I chose this lovely little park to place my first geocache. I sometimes stop here on my way home from work; just to sit in peace and reflect. Apparently, it is one of as many as 54 parks in Swansea.
The park has been described as 'an oasis of calm surrounded by tall redwoods'. It is ideal as a cache and dash, but I hope you will have time to sit and enjoy the birds and squirrels! St James’ Park is behind St James' Church on Walter Road. Despite being a busy area surrounded by a school, a residential home, dwellings and offices etc; there is always a parking space on the busiest of days. Unrestricted parking is available in St James’ Gardens or Ffynone Road near the Dharmavajra Buddhist Centre. Dog walkers take advantage of the area, however, there are very many solitary moments! Apologies for this being a nano but the park is so well maintained I feared a larger container would be disturbed. As this is a nano, please bring your own writing implement.
