Geocache Description:

Bison tube in a standing dead Joshua tree.

Take the road from Antevorte. Pass the sign that says "Road ends 2500 feet" until the end of the road. This is about .8 miles from the sign. At this pint you will see a sign that indicates this is the edge of the Wilderness Boundary. The road beyond the sign has been up heaved, dead Joshua trees laid across the road to block it, etc. Perhaps new vegetation has also been planted also. I think they prefer we didn't go past here. If you did go past here, you would come across a large water tank and a trough for cattle. It doesn't look like anyone is using this tank and trough, and nobody is [legally] driving in to see it. You can see the water tank in the wash from N35 32.900 W115 49.167



High clearance vehicle and 4WD highly recommended.

Remember to take enough water, food, and fuel.

Be aware of your surroundings, especially the heat, desert

critters, and spiny plants.

Be sure to keep your track log.

Watch your fuel tank. Fuel is available in Baker and

Primm.
