Calverley Spring Bunnies #5 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to contact me about this cache please use my Email address below my signature and quote the GC number of the cache. Please note this system is not infallible and I may miss any such mail.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

This short woodland series celebrates spring time! Taking you on a circular walk through Calverley Woods, the series takes in part of the Calverley Millenium Way.
These are ancient woods which may have been of importance in prehistoric times, as suggested by a neolithic cup marked stone within the woods!
Please park at suggested coords on Parkin Lane, off Harrogate Road. Do not park on Thornhill/Clara Drive as these are Private Roads.

You do not need to wander far from the main paths to find these caches. They are meant to be fun and easy finds for children, which may make them more muggle prone - do try to rehide them very carefully with lots of heavy coverage so they don't get carried off by overzealous doggles or other critters!

From number 4, have a wander along Clara Drive and admire the houses here! On your left you will reach a small black gate which takes you down a narrow track leading to the wider main path below, taking you back into the woods via Calverley Cutting. A picture of the cutting can be found here: (visit link)

Go downhill towards the bridge to find this small clip lock container, which at placing has a few spring themed swappable inside.
