Geocache Description:

The first in a series of twelve caches plus a bonus cache to be found whilst enjoying a circular country walk in the area of Metheringham Airfield which based 106 Squadron during the 2nd World War.

Each of the first 12 caches contain a number which can be used to find the co ordinates of the bonus cache as explained on that cache page. Some caches are quite small - no larger than a 35ml film canister while others are large enough for small swaps - geo coins, travel bugs etc.The small containers contain only a log roll and the numbers for you to keep so please bring a pen to sign the logs.

To find the co ordinates for the bonus cache all of the first 12 will have to be found and the numbers used as explained on the bonus cache page.

Suggested parking is at N53 08 292 W000 20 396 only a few yards from cache No 1. A circuit from here to find the first 12 caches is just over 3 miles.

Good luck with your caching and enjoy your walk in this very quiet area.
