Dear John at Markham Springs Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

pscwmoms: This is a cache that was in the bathroom.
I thought of it fondly, it lasted a long time. A Black nano up on the closer of the door this WORKS!! Once returned to me by a Tom Sailors who stuck it to his FS truck while cleaning the restrooms, now that clean to see find a NONA cache. LOL. he gave it back to me. At the start it was a male/female restroom, later if became the women restroom. Never stopped a catcher. Opening the space to other to play here or near here. Great area for caching and not to much traffic for the area NICE.
Ask the FS if you want to hide a cache here out of the weather is the best!!

Geocache Description:

Nice stop to see the black river. Markham Spring Recreation Area, near Williamsville, MO.

Welcome to Markham Springs recreation area. This area is part of Mark Twain National Forest. Here you will be next to the Black river. There is a house, empty now, and a mill house. The mill pond in front of the house is clear spring water, you can watch the fish. There are several trails in the area. There are bubble springs in a flat area near one of the trail bridges.

This is a place where your parents and grand parents might have gone camping. We have added electricity to some of the sites in recent years. It's a nice place to stop for a rest. Restrooms, picnic tables, trails, boat launch and springs just off the trails.

You need a good reach to get this one. This is a very small container the log goes back in the lid first. This will make putting it back together much easier. It is a log only cache. Bring your own pen.
Information on the forest (visit link)
Enjoy your stop.

FTF goes to Ozarkxtreme and Twister 97
