Geocache Description:

The Joker, the Clown Prince of Crime. Batman's Arch-Nemesis.

The Joker is crazy. Plain and simple. Whereas, Batman is a master strategist, logical, and always thinking; the Joker is totally chaotic, random and impulsive. His origin story is a mystery, he himself may not even be sure which of the various stories is true or just made up.

Ward's Island was once a separate island from Randall's Island by a small waterway. That waterway has since been filled in, making these two islands one. Nearby are: Manhattan Psychiatric Center (formerly Blackwell's Island Lunatic Asylum), The Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center for the criminally insane. (whoa, right?), The Fire Academy, The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP), and ICAHN Stadium where Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt set three world records on May 31, 2008.

Also, here's a very nice photo tour of the island from a few years ago. The island is actually MUCH nicer now.

Cache is a small colorful container. BYOP. Please use caution, as you can be seen by muggles in every direction. And as always, rehide well.

Congrats to RuthNY on the FTF!

Why so serious? Enjoy the cache!
