NOTE: York River State Park has a $5 parking fee. This is a 4 stage multi-cache with the first starting at the restrooms near the parking area. You will receive coordinates at each stage to find the next. The terrain is moderate with a change in elevation as you pass through a woodland hollow and across a small bridge. The trail you travel on is named after a "medium sized tree tumbling rodent". The final cache contains VSP collectible wildlife cards.
This cache was part of the 2010 Virginia State Parks (VSP) Geocaching Adventure series. This series ended on December 31, 2010. However, the park has taken over this cache so it is still active. Special rewards are no longer available for this cache, only the cards. For upcoming information on the newest VSP Geocaching Adventure go to: www.virginiastateparks.gov.
