Greetings. This is the 3rd and last cache in a small unofficial
series of mine which includes 0 Lives Remaining and What Do Red
Ones Do Again? If you have found at least one of those caches, you
will have an advantage on this one.
However, this time, you will get the complete knowledge how to
find it. There is a large rock, perhaps a glacial erratic, nearby.
The cache is in a nook of the tree thats just to the south of it.
You do not need to have both your feet leave the trail to get this
cache. Its covered by some leaves. Please recover when putting
back. This is the trail that will take you to the Gresfruds cache
as well by the way. I sure went the wrong way trying to find that
today. I parked on 36th Ave W. I would probably recommend parking
towards the north of the cache and accessing it that way. Your call
though, it was a good exercise that way. That was a long 400 feet
as the crow flies
This cache will qualify for the Rockhound Challenge, for those
of who care. Well, even if you don't care, it still qualifies.
Do NOT go anywhere near or on the train tracks for this cache.
You do not need to leave the trail to get the cache. I saw a train
go by today and I could have walked faster than it and it went back
and forth and back and forth before finally going out of sight.
That's how I felt today, going back and forth trying to find the
trail to this cache. May you have better fortune! I am providing
you with trailhead coordinates to prevent you from feeling you
could get there quicker that way...its not worth it. The 2
trailhead coordinates are assuming you are coming from the north.
You will need the 2nd trailhead regardless.
