Geocache Description:

THE COORDINATES ABOVE ARE INCORRECT.

A puzzle cache to celebrate the success of the Dixie High School Flyer Baseball teams with a little history and a little folklore.

The Dixie High School Flyer baseball team has been successful over the last few years including several state championship titles; 1973 (B), 1974 (2A), 1994 (3A), 1995 (3A), 1997 (3A), 2006 (3A), 2017 (3A), and 2018 (4A).

Many of the DHS Flyer baseball players go on to play college baseball and one player went on to play professional baseball. Bruce Hurst (class of 1976) played for the Boston Red Sox (1980-1988), San Diego Padres (1989-1993), Colorado Rockies (1993) and the Texas Rangers (1994). He was also selected as an All-Star (1987).

In order to find the cache you must translate a few simple statements from baseball folklore, know the positions they played, and know a little bit about how baseball is scored.
