In the late 1960s, the City of Toccoa undertook a redevelopment project that included remaking the downtown shopping area into a covered mall. In 2007, the mall canopies were demolished thus reopening the street to both sunshine and traffic. Do you remember the mall?
This cache is now a magnetic keyholder placed somewhere outside the mall entrance. It has been placed by twowheelcrackers on behalf of the Toccoa Main Street program. While visiting, pass on through and take a few minutes to visit the business establishments in the area.
