Geocache Description:

My son is really into the TV show Ghost Hunters so this friendly cache placed in honor of all the local ghostly legends. Please feel free to share your ghostly tales in your logs, that is, if you can find this haunting ghost of a cache. This one is large enough to hold small travel bug, coins and trinkets so you are not looking for a ”Nano” or “Micro”, after all that would not a very scary ghost..

Have you ever been walking the Pennsylvania trials in the early dawn or late evening hours and seen a shadow in the woods. What was it? "The Goblin of Easton", 'Bloody Mary" a Hoop Snake, maybe it was the Moth Man, Big Foot or simply a deer, fox, cat, skunk or some other wild life.........or was it the legendary Woodland Ghost? Why is the “Woodland Ghost” spirit trapped between our world and the afterlife? Whose spirit is this? Could it be a young civil war soldier forgotten by time? Maybe it was a local slate miner or steel worker killed while working in those very rough jobs or is it from an even earlier time. The previous cache that was located very close by was started as a place for a local cacher to show off his Appalachian Trial trackables, but they kept mysteriously disappearing. Once they were removed the cache and replaced with a photo for discovering his collection the cache was trashed several times with the contents being thrown around the area. So was it muggled or was the Woodland Ghost upset that his coins were gone, not that I know but just saying maybe it was the ghost!
The Ghost moves quietly and effortless through the woods so spotting it may be very important since I doubt you will hear it as it passes by. Like many ghost this one may be easier to spot just as dusk settles into the woods and should be easy to catch once you see it? I would also make sure you are safely out of these woods before night falls and the Ghost and Goblins take over the woods. Good Luck and happy Ghost busting!

Remember it is big enough to hold trackables so there is no need to look in every little spot you find. Please return the Ghost back to its hiding spot and try to ensure the whole thing is hidden as best you can so we can prevent this cache from experiencing the muggle issues the previous cache here had. There really is a lot of muggle activities in these woods.
