The cache has now been replaced in a new sturdier container so it should survive for the next few years.
Here is something to help break the trip across our country as you cross the Nullarbor Plain. The cache is a section of grey plastic pipe with a screw lid under a bush approx 150 metres from a track leading to one of the old microwave repeater sites, about 50kms west of Nullarbor roadhouse. It contains a Father Christmas and a pair of reindeer antlers, a calculator to help work out your fuel economy and a rubber ball.
