On May 2nd 2000, geocaching was made possible when selective
availability was removed from the GPS Satellite signals. The first
geocache was placed on the very next day. Now, over
1,000,000 active geocaches later, geocachers worldwide are
celebrating ten years of geocaching!
Come help celebrate 10 Years! of amazing geocaching experiences at
Fuddruckers in Hershey at one of the many "10 Years!" events around
the world.
The G.O.T.C.H.A. group is always looking for a reason to have an
event and get together BUT this isn't just any 'ole event;
this event will qualify for the Special "10 Years!" icon which will
be assigned to each "10 Years!" event listing.
So come out to Fuddruckers for some sandwiches, cookies, swapping
of some stories, a group picture and a sweet, new icon!
The event will start at 1 and end whenever Lary is done talking
about his pants!
