A large camo'd plastic bottle hidden in the woods near what used to be a second ballfield in Shawnee Mission Park. If you look at the satellite maps you can see there used to be two ballfields here, but one has disappeared. It was removed when they built the wetlands observation area to the northwest.
Some hiking and bushwhacking for this one depending on how you approach it. The ballfield parking isn't too far away, but you'll have to find a way across the creek. Usually isn't too hard, but sometimes it will be running heavy - might be better to find another way across/around it at those times. Park hours are 5am - 11pm for March thru October; and 6:00am - 8pm for November thru February.
PI is definitely going to be a factor here. Come warmer weather, ticks will be a certainty and snakes a possibility.
