Geocache Description:

A 2 liter Lock & Lock-type container hidden in the Cranberry Mountain Multiple Use Area.

For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth become more than they ever thought possible. And we’ll continue that journey into the next century.

Scouting alumni are former Scouts, but also the supportive family members, dedicated volunteers and professionals, and the tens of millions of Americans that benefit from Scouting in their communities every day. This cache is to honor people from around the world who support youth in the pursuit of excellence for their efforts.

This cache was made available to Scouts in the Westchester-Putnam Council, Boy Scouts of America, on April 30, 2010, during its Centennial Camporee. The cache is being made available to the general public beginning on May 7, 2010.

In addition to WPCBSA, Treasures of Scouting, BSA Alumni Connection, we’ve hidden four other caches highlighting Scouting programs. Find all five! Search WPCBSA, Treasures of Scouting on Geocaching.com.

There is also a sixth “bonus” cache: GC25998. Each of the five WPCBSA, Treasures of Scouting caches contains a clue. Keep track of the clues, and use them to determine the location of the final “bonus” cache, which contains a great FTF prize!
