A nice spot to learn some local history.
Area also called the Judas Creek runoff of the Manasquan River Watershed, a Green Acres funded wildlife park was named to honor Dr. Charles Tassini (1908-1986), a lifelong Manasquan resident. Dr. Tassini was a DDS serving as Lt. Commander in the US Navy during WWII.
The plaque indicates that he was a "public spirited" citizen who also served on the town planning board.
Be very careful of being watched from neighbors and nearby construction. Stealth quite required.
Cache is safe from wetness and flooding. You don't need boots. Bring your own pen for the log.
