Surf Park Launch Area
No need to bush dive here.
This State park is used to launch Surf Kites.Then they fly these surf board kites up and down the North Shore of Oahu for miles.
Across from this park is Dillingham airport Towed full size gliders are taken to the nearby ridge and released from Powered Birddog high wing aircraft tow plane and can soar for hours with just a small 700 ft tow from the airport.
Also on the ridge you will see Hang Gliders working the magic lift as they soar along with the full-size gliders.
You can watch out for jumpers that exit their airplane at 12500 ft as they descend to a point on the airport most of the time.
