Geocache Description:


I wanted to place a cache in tribute to the Elmo Fossil Beds located near here. I realized that Mt Calvary Cashe to the east also pays tribute to the fossil beds. I will post the exact coordinates of the main site when it comes available. Early in the 20th century this was one of the premier permian insect fossil sites in the world attracting attention from Harvard University, Yale, and Kansas State University Scientists. I have included links to a couple of sites below for your personal research. Enjoy
