Geocache Description:

South street is accessible by car or foot, with plenty of parking close by. The area is within a meter zone, which i believe is currently 50p / hour.

The cache is a short walk from the city centre and exceptionally close to the Central Rail Station.

Within this area there are a few interesting features that visitors to Newcastle may overlook.

The cache itself is close to Central Square, an office building with on site art installations that are worth a look. There is one to the front of the building and one in between Central Square North and Central Square South. I wont say what they are as you can see for yourself.

There are also parts of the old city walls to the east of the carpark adjacent to the cache.

The cache is very close to a busy office, so stealth required. Although the area is quiet on a weekend.
