Geocache Description:

If you have never seen Ohio University's Graffiti Wall, this is your chance. Bring an extraction tool.

Colour My World was a flip side ('B' side) release by the group Chicago (originally Chicago Transit Authority) in 1971.

It was even earlier when the retaining wall south of Super Hall became the Graffiti Wall. The earliest history that I have been able to find references the late 1960s. The university generally supports the wall but there isn't an official policy.

"The graffiti wall operates as an unregulated public forum, which means it is a place the institution has afforded to anyone to make any message."

The original wall was replaced in 2003 after Bentley Annex was built and was changed from one long wall to a series of three sections. The graffiti is generally about events of student organizations, but anyone can use the wall for anything they like. There have been many birthday wishes and at least two marriage proposals. Just keep in mind that your 'message' could be overwritten the next day or so.

So, bring your cans of paint and your caching skills. Happy hunting.

The cache container is a micro located across the street from the wall. Congratulations to Illinitrecker for FTF. I like the idea of taking and posting a picture of one section of the wall, please do!
