At the coordinates is a parking lot, but the cache is somewhere
else!
Köchel heissen die Hügel im Murnauer Moos. Sie
haben die
Eiszeit unterm Loisach-Gletscher überlebt, weil sie aus sehr
hartem Gestein
bestehen. Von 1930 bis 2000 wurden einige Köchel abgebaut und
das Gestein als Schotter
verwendet. Die Verladestation war am
Parkplatz P1, und um das Gestein hierher zu transportieren gab es
eine
4 km lange Seilbahn. Diese wurde zum größten Teil wieder
entfernt, aber ca 750 m
westlich von hier hat man den Teil erhalten, der unter der Autobahn
durchführt. Dort ist jetzt ein kleines Museum.
Beim Einstellen der Arbeiten plante man ein
Abschiedskonzert, das hier erhalten
ist. Die Musikstücke bringen dich
zum cache. Der cache ist nicht an der
Seilbahn befestigt, ihr müßt schon das Rätsel
lösen!

"Köchel" is the local name for the small hills
in
the swamp "Murnauer Moos". The hills survived the ice ages below
the
ice of the Loisach glacier because they consist of hard rock. This
property made them valuable as as gravel for streets and railroads.
From 1930 to 2000 some of the hills were converted to gravel, and
the material was transported by
a cable car to the loading station right at the parking lot P1. The
cable car has been dismantled except for the small piece where it
crossed below the Autobahn A95. Approximately 800m to the West you will find a small
museum.
When the gravel works were closed, they gave a final
concert
which consisted of the pieces depicted above. The musical pieces
will lead you
to the cache.
