Geocache Description:

A delightful village situated on the banks of the River Lea. There has been a settlement in this area since 50BC. Nearby is St Helen's Church, dating from the 13th century, originally built by the Saxons, but updated later by the Normans. The most famous resident was the polar explorer: Apsley Cherry-Garrard. The Bull public house comes highly recommended for all Geo-cachers.

This is a micro cache, located in a film canister, with logbook and small pencil. NOTE: There is now yet another replacement cache - however moved it slightly as it might be safer!! The new coordinates are N51 48 787 and W000 17 726.
