This is a night time-only cache in the Cedar Point preserve. The path is wide --mostly sand or grass but there are several roots so pick up your feet. :) The total hike is approx. 1.5 miles round trip.
One of our first finds was a night cache and we had a blast so we wanted to share our enthusiasm by hiding some night caches of our own.
This was meant to be a continuation from Twilight Saga: Twilight cache.
The coordinates will bring you to the starting point. We had to move the starting point further down the trail than we originally planned due to other caches in the area. Therefore, we've placed some extra reflectors BEFORE you reach the coordinates just for peace of mind as you hike through the dark. :)
You will use your flashlight (an LED/ bright light is highly recommended) to find white reflectors that mark the path to the cache. A single dot means keep going straight. Two dots means make a 90 degree turn--the dots will show the way. When you reach the cache, you will know. X marks the spot!
When it's time to return, you can follow the orange dots. For this cache, the orange dots will take you back along a slightly different path so don't be concerned. You can choose between returning the way you came (follow your GPS) or follow the orange dots for a slight shortcut.
White takes you to the cache. Orange takes you back to the beginning.
