Placed in March of 2010, this cache is still going strong as of April 2023. The original logbook is still intact and is fun to look through and see some familiar names!
This cache is located a few meters off of a well maintained back road. There is rarely traffic or muggles, but be sure to park at the top of the hill so you are visible.
A bit of elbow grease may be needed when opening the container but this great seal has ensured it's longevity despite some neglect from yours truly.
When re-sealing, be sure to press down hard (I use my foot). The latch isn't perfect, but once the lid is down tight, the latch doesn't really matter.
When rehiding, consider pushing some debris beside it so it doesn't fall over. I'd love to see this cache survive another decade!
