New cache hidden on the scenic North coast of Curacao near some beautiful bat caves.
First of all a big thanks to my new friends Bill and Joyce Heitmeier for coming to Curacao on vacation and helping me hide and name this new fun cache. You must first drive to an area called Koral Tabok (ask the locals) and start your journey at an old guard shack at cords, 12-degrees 08.258 North by 068-degrees 49.837 West. From there you should be looking towards the North coast and at a dirt road in front of you with the guard shack in the middle. Drive down the dirt road until you see an old very deserted house on your right, turn left and keep following the main road, it's aprox 1.7km. from the guard shack to the turn-off to the bat caves which is on your right and another few hundred feet up another dirt road. There is a nice hiking trail off that road up to the bat caves and the cache is hidden at the very end of this trail past the entrance to the main cave. Cache is not hidden inside the cave. There are two big visible cave entrances, the first is almost impossible to get into and the second you must climb up some rocks to get in, cache is beyond the second entrace at the very end of the trail. Good luck and have fun, and don't forget to quietly go inside the cave (don't disturb the bats) once in you can walk thru the cave and go up onto the top of the mountain for the best Geocache view ever!
