Green Hill Hideaway Traditional Cache
lavaflow: Unfortunately I have to archive this cache as the tire it was hidden in has been cleared away so there is no hiding place for a replacement cache. A new cache Green Hill Hideaway 2 will be released shortly in a close by location.

The cache is located near the top of Green Hill at 490ft – if you venture a little further down the hill away from the trees, you can see a great view of the surrounding area. The cache is just off the road (there is a small parking spot about 60m North of the cache) near a footpath, so could be done as a cache-and-dash or as a longer walk. The terrain is easy – you can walk up the road as it isn’t busy (there’s also a wide bank at the side of the road), and the cache itself is easy to find.
The cache is a transparent rectangular clip box.
The original contents of the cache were:

- 2 pencils and 1 sharpener (please leave, for writing in the log book)
- 1 interchangeable charm necklace
- 1 small pack of winne-the-pooh crayons
- 1 pokemon coin
- 1 yellow sparkly bouncy ball

- 4 mini Zelda key clips
- 1 metal puzzle
- 1 spinning top
- 2 cartoon pencil tops
- 1 magnifying glass
- 1 polly pocket doll
- 1 jumping bean
- 1 glass bird
- 1 asthma travel bug
The cache can be taken in as part of a circular walk, starting from the area of Nether Borughton. The route roughly follows: Nether Broughton – Queensway – Green Hill – Wartnaby – Broughton Hill – Broughton Lodges (beware of 2 very protective dogs here) – Nether Broughton. The walk takes about 2.5 hours (for an average walker) but could be shortened by walking along the road instead of following the footpaths to Wartnaby.
