Geocache Description:

New Germany, Lunenburg County

This camoed tobacco can is located near the hydro dam. The pulp mill was erected in June, 1893, by the Morgan Falls Pulp Co., composed of Hon. A. G. Jones and Sons, and Joseph S. Hughes, Esq. Twenty tons of pulp were manufactured per day, using up fourteen cords of wood in the operation.The Mill closed operation in 1956, some of the old relics remain on site. In 1996 a hydro power plant was developed at the Falls, built on the site of the abandoned pulp mill. For more info on the hydro power plant and its production check out Hydro Power Be careful while retrieving the cache, it is close to the cliff along the fence. Contains a log, pencil and a few traders.
