Grave Robbery Cache
This cache is in Memory of my dad, Max Folmer, who was an excellent storyteller and saver of history. If he had lived, I believe Geo-caching would have been a favorite hobby for him. There are 2 way points, one is his mother, Lizzie Folmer’s grave, which is the site of the original grave of Conrad Folmer. The other is my father, the storyteller, Max Folmer’s grave. Max was the youngest of five sons born to Dow and Lizzie Young Folmer. Max served in WWII in Iraq and Germany. He was a wonderful husband and father of 4 children. Max served the community as a volunteer fireman and on the local emergency squad. He loved to fish and golf, but most of all, when the family gathered he loved to tell stories.
The CD interview was part of an oral history project of my daughter Jo Ellen Crane Schaeffer.
I hope you enjoy this CD as much as his family does. Happy Caching.
