Miss Steele: Unfortunately, this cache page has been archived due to the lack of a timely maintanence resolution. If the owner would like to have it reinstated, please contact me through my profile within 10 days, referencing the GC code and name of the cache. Please note that un-archiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

This is a multi-cache in the Life and Death series; where you will use simple math and clues to find the final coordinates. You will be given the coordinates to several monuments in the Troy City Cemetery located on the outskirts of Troy, MT. You will use the information off of the monuments to get the coordinates to the final cache location. The above coordinates are to the first location.

The final cache is located near Shannon Lake which is located off of the Old Highway 2 trail between Libby and Troy. From Libby or Troy head on US Highway 2 until Highway 56. Follow Highway 56 approximately .75 mile to the USFS sign for Old Highway 2, which is located on the left. Park in the large open area, and follow signs to Shannon Lake. Hike is approx. .30 miles to lake, and requires some steep rocky trail climbing. We did the hike with three girls ranging from 3 to 9 years with little incident.

This cache should not be attempted in the winter time when there is snow. Other than that, the cache can be walked up to.

The final coordinates are:

N 48° 26.ABC
W 115° 47.DEF

Use the additional way points listed below to find the monuments and the numbers required to complete the coordinates.

The contents of the cache includes a awesome FTF gift, as well as a another cool gift for second to find! Enjoy the hunt.
