Found that this area needed a cache, so I set one up here on my way past to find a different cache !
Thought this would be a nice area for a cache, and since there are very few caches along this stretch of Highway 11, I felt obliged to set one up here for passers-by needing to stop. Beautiful landscape next to the river, nice clean area and lots of trash cans and picnic tables around. A tourist stopped in to use the facilities and let her dogs run for a bit while I was setting the cache.
This cache started with a few different pins, and a compass keychain. Not tons of room in there, good for pins. Logbook and pencil included, just in case.
Enjoy the scenery and fresh air. About 50 meters from the road to the cache, you're pretty well hidden in the bush at GZ. Decent walking, a few deadfall trees but not terrible.
Cache is winter friendly, but the location is, um, bushy. It'd be a good hoof in winter with snowshoes on.
