Geocache Description:

Cache is a camo green magnetic micro

This is part 4 of a series of caches called Little Miami Hidden Agenda. I will add one public cache to this series each trimester (and one unpublished, private cache on the campus for Little Miami High School students only).

This cache is hidden between the campus and the Little Miami River, when excavating for the High School building, they discovered a burial mound for the Hopewell indians and the belief is that this area may have been one of many locations that they may have lived along the Little Miami River centuries ago.

I use geo-caching as a teaching tool and the "Hidden Agenda" is designed to get students out of the classroom and to local historical points of interest or about map reading, GPS and finding longitude and latitude coordinates. Mostly it is to let them experience the fun of geo-caching.
