The coordinates will take you to Ray's Flower Garden. Each year Ray and his friends grow and plant hundreds of flowers for everyone's enjoyment. Ray says to gawk, enjoy the flowers and take all of the pictures you want but for safety reasons please stay off of the property this includes the immediate garden area, displays, pathways and furniture. The owner cannot be responsible for accidents. Please, do not park in or block the driveway. There really is no need to enter onto the property, all can be enjoyed quite well from the road that runs in front of the garden. The fifteen foot or so grassy area along the south edge of the road is okay. If the above rules are not adhered to I have agreed to take down this cache site for everyone's protection.
The best time to visit this cache is in the summer when the flowers are in full bloom but if you are looking for a challenge then look for this cache at any time of the year. If the flowers aren't blooming yet, come back when they are to enjoy the garden.
The actual cache is NOT located on Ray's private property so please do not enter onto the property. Even with the above restrictions you may still need to do a little searching to find it. The cache is micro in size and contains only a log, please bring your own pen.
27 Jun 2010: Finally, someone found this one. Ray, the garden owner, tells me that a lot more people were looking for this one than have made log entries. Congratulations to "Dr. Who and K-9" for their dogged determination.
I increased the difficulty level because of the apparent problem folks are having finding this cache.
NOTICE: The cache is not hidden in the woods across the road -- survey the area carefully before you start searching as there are very limited hiding places available.
19 Jul 2010: Okay folks, Ray and I appreciate everyone honoring Ray's wishes to stay off of his property but many may be being a bit too cautious. I've updated the description somewhat in the hopes that it helps searchers find the cache without painting a target on it.
I checked with Ray this evening and he tells me that he and his neighbor still put up their Christmas decorations. So there is another reason to go back to Ray's garden later in the year.
