Geocache Description:

Photobucket

Since 2000 Mojave Max has been the weather prognosticator(he forcasts the weather) for the west coast. On the east coast Puaxsutawney Phil heralds springs arrival. Since choppnhappydog have been doing tribute caches this seemed like the place to honor the original Mojave max - An impromtu cairn marks the spot just lift the headstone to reach the cache! This will eventually have a choppnhappydog tribute stone and I will then update the listing.

If spring was predicted in your area by a different animal please post! And as always it is a desert out there beware of things that bite, poke and sting!
