Old Stand ** HRM 2010 WPC ** Traditional Cache

This cache is located in Second Lake Park, a 700 acre reserve which almost completely surrounds Second Lake in Lower Sackville. The Second Lake Regional Park Association has developed several trails through the reserve. A groomed trail from First Lake Drive to Metropolitan Avenue should be completed by June 2010.

The park includes stands of old growth maple and hemlock trees, some more than 200 years old. There is also a 15 acre site in which you can find every species of tree native to Nova Scotia. A wide variety of wildlife also abounds within the park.

Cache is a medium sized lock-n-lock.
