Geocache Description:

We liked the placing of this cache the first time...but it was cleared out by house keeping....so here we go again...new cache a little bit of a newer spot.

Is a rectangular water safe cache....nicely camo'd. Need to BYOP (bring your own pen/pencil). Can hold small trade items...and please hide as well as found. Opened from dawn to dusk.

An article in the Summer 2008 Olathe Links Newsletter made the residents aware of an error made.

This cemetery has been owned by Olathe since 1879 and was integrated early. There are hand written documents from 1865 identifying different races buried there. Many are believed to have helped build the city of Olathe. These graves had wood markers that had deteriorated over the years.

When the road located outside of the cemetery was expanded several graves were unintentionally paved over. Just recently the city of Olathe was able to locate those graves. There is now a grave marker that was just placed to honor these people.

The cache is not to far away...
