Geocache Description:

Cache is located at the Port of Umatilla on the beautiful Columbia
River. It is adjacent to a monument that commemorates the
completion of the Umatilla Bridge. The monument consists of 3 of
the more than 3,000 concrete tetrahedrons used in the construction of the dam. Each of these tetrahedrons weighs 12 tons!

Besides a marina and an RV park, there is a public boat launch, a swimming area, picnic tables, and restrooms. Relax on the lawn under the shade trees or have a seat on one of the benches at the water's edge. Have fun!

NOTE: Marina and park hours are 7 am to dusk.
