This cache is a medium lock and lock with small trade items and a log. It was placed by twowheelcrackers on behalf of Toccoa Main Street.
The area contains two structures of local historic relevance. One is a restored southern mansion of the Greek revival period. Listed on The National Register of Historic Places, it features beautiful stained glass, beveled glass, and curved glass windows, dozens of ornate oak columns, 9 unique fireplaces, and an oak paneled dining room that seats 35. The original brass chandeliers hang from 11 foot ceilings in the parlor, foyer, and dining room. The second, the location of the cache, is also of historic significance. Please read the marker placed by the Toccoa Stephens Historical Society when you visit.
