Geocache Description:

Another little bit of local history.

Cache is across the road from the schoolhouse museum. The original cache location is now gone.

I can't believe it's taken us so long to put a cache here..it's such a neat little piece of Metchosin history. Please visit their website at (visit link) and if you can, go inside this little gem and step back in time. You might even see how Metchosin got it's name! When the museum is closed, you can still read the history on the sign out front.

Cache is a cammo'd preform with a baggie inside containing the log sheet. Tweezers may be helpful. BE STEALTHY and act natural...it can be a busy road at times! Please rehide well!
