Geocache Description:

It's "Not Exactly Old MacDonald's Farm" out here. Turkey Red and Timbalina, together as Team Turkalina, are both interested in wildlife. So, we decided to start our own menagerie here for ourselves and other to enjoy, geocache style. This is a great spot to do some bird watching.

While we were here the first time we Turkey Red had noticed that there was an owl house here. That led her to the idea of the cache container you are looking for. While sitting here with Timbalina trying to come up with a name and get the coords for this cache Turkey had remembered one of her favorite books as a child, OWL AT HOME by Arnold Lobel. I can't tell you how many times that book was read. Since the book was enjoyed so much she couldn't get rid of it and when she had kids of her own she shared it with them. Many nights were spent reading about tear water tea, owl and the moon and strange bumps. It is a classic childrens book that Turkey Red felt needed to be shared and honored in the Geocaching community. Come take a look and see if Owl is at home.
