the beautiful game Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

mcjeeper and stukboy: Time to let this one go. The area has changed since 2010. It used to just be a grassy area where they set up goals for summer soccer leagues but each year they seem to be doing more to improve the fields/area. I have noticed that it is now fenced. I know how I feel going into an unfamiliar area and feeling like you shouldn't be there so I'm not going to subject other cachers to that, to get to this GZ.

Long live the beautiful game!

Geocache Description:

THERE IS NO CONTAINER AT THE LISTED COORDINATES.

ACCESS MUST BE FROM HEMPLAND ROAD. NO NEED TO GO ANYWHERE NEAR THE RAILROAD TRACKS.

The listed coordinates will take you to a place I frequent and where Pelé could show off his skills. To earn the smiley, figure out the answers to the questions below to determine the real coordinates.

Pelé (name at birth: Edson Arantes do Nascimento).

The most famous footballer of his generation (and perhaps the greatest player in the history of soccer), Pelé joined the Santos Football Club at a young age and stayed with the club through his retirement in 1974, helping the team to nine championships in 18 years. Pelé played on four Brazilian World Cup teams, including the country's three World Cup wins in 1958, 1962 and 1970. Pelé became more famous in America in 1975, when he came out of retirement to play for the New York Cosmos of the infant North American Soccer League. Pelé retired for a second time after leading the Cosmos to the NASL championship. His 1977 autobiography was titled My Life and the Beautiful Game (he dubbed soccer "the beautiful game"). Pelé was named Athlete of the Century by the world's combined National Olympic Committees in 1999 (despite never actually participating in the Olympics). His playing style was marked by superb ball control and great tactical ability.
