Was erected in 1933 by Ruse’s patriots and friends of the victims. Author of the project is Prof. Anastas Dudolov. Sculpture was cast in concrete due to lack of funds. In 1943 the monument was blown up by the Organization “Brannik”.
In 1966 on the occasion of 80th anniversary of riot officers pro-russians the monument was restored in a project of Anastas Dudolov featuring sculptors N. Terziev and G. Radulov. Made of limestone from Ruse and the sculpture - from Vratza stone. The foundation has built a symbolic tomb.
Aside from the main entrance is fitted with a marble slab on which are inscribed the names of the dead pro-russians: Major Uzunov, Olimpi Panov, Thomas Kardzhiev, Captain Zelengorov, podporuchitsite Kozhuharov, Enchev, Trambashki, Krastenyakov and Alex. Tsvetkov.
