WELCOME TO THE FIRST LETTERBOX HYBRID IN THE SOUTH OKANAGAN! ** In 2000 I joined the Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service and served in 2 halls by 2004. Upon moving to the South Okanagan I joined the Naramata Hall in 2005 eventually serving a 3 year term as Fire Lieutenant (2008 - July 2011), and a 2 year term as Fire Chief (Aug 2011 - Aug 2013). This cache was placed as a safe haven 'TB Hotel and an invitation to the public to come visit the firehall! **
Currently, an on-going member of the CAFC (Canadian Association of Fire Chief's),Fire Chaplin,and independent contract trainer, I instruct first response, emergency scene management, and industrial safety to fire fighters & northern oil patch workers throughout western Canada. The resulting TB Hotel was designed as a convenient, clean, safe, 'roomy' place for TravelBugs and GeoCoins to be traded, discovered, grabbed, placed. 'Trades' are not necessary if you wish to simply move a trackable along! [ A stamp and ink-pad have been provided for 'Letterboxers' and log has been provided for 'Geocachers'. ] ***Please park along the Lower Debeck Rd gravel shoulder (suggest N49 35 426 W119 34 844) between Fire Hall enterance and first private home on N side of road.*** 
- Do Not Park on Fire Hall Grounds - ATTN: Entire Parking Lot is for emergency responder vehicles only. Fire Trucks may respond out of the front and rear bays of building at any time, day or night. Please do not block (or even partially block) bays or driveways around to the rear of building. --- Do Not Park on Fire Hall Grounds --- (You may walk onto the department grounds, - just don't 'park' on them please!) -------------------------------------------------------------- Easy parking and a short easy walk to search area/GZ/LZ/DZ/HZ ... or whatevere you wanna call it!.

LETTERBOXING CLUES - (No hidden meaning or cryptic message here. Even though it sounds poetic, please take the following directions literally.) - Walk onto the lot, this isn't a test. Yellow hydrant points to it, you'll head due west! - Twin signs say 'No Parking', only members of the hall. Camo-cache awaits you, 'aside' retaining wall.
- Notice the sprinklers, look around the third. Big Big lock'N'lock, - or so I have heard. - From where you stand, well within your reach.
No climbing involved, nothing left here to teach.
- Now that you're there, and muggles not seen.
Lift up off the ground, those branches of green.
*** Please do not remove the stamp and/or ink pad supplied within this container.*** *** Help maintain the Hotel. Not looking for it to become a big swag dump! Apply your common sense. *** *** Exchange TBs/GCs here if you have some to trade, but feel free to still 'move one along' even if you don't. [Trackables Need to Travel!] *** -------------------------------------------------------------- Letterboxers will use the 'Sparky' stamp in the letterbox to mark their personal logbook (Being a Fire Dept. location, - an emergency 'quick-attack' back-up stamp has also been provided). They will use their own personal stamp to sign the TB Hotel cache log. Geocachers do not require a personal stamp to attend the cache -- just sign in your usual way. -------------------------------------------------------------- Have Fun!
