Geocache Description:

Pinnacle Peak Park is a 256-acre volcanic cone that rises straight out of the Enumclaw farmlands and straight down to the White River. Also known locally as Mt. Peak, and even Mt. Pete, Pinnacle Peak is one of the most popular hikes for Enumclaw and South King and East Pierce County families.

You are looking for a 4x6 camo'd lock-n-lock plastic box. The hike up is rather steep with a 700' elevation gain in 1.3 miles. Parking lot with restrooms is located at SE Mud Mountain Rd and SE 481st ST. This King County Natural Area does close at dark, so please no night caching! The gravel road is not wheelchair accessible, but serious mountain bikers will love it. On a clear day the view of Mt. Rainier and the plateau below are awesome. The difficulty rating is due to the canopy cover, however I've had fairly accurate readings each time I've been here. FTF prize is $2, and the cache is stocked with a log book, pencil, and small swag items. Cache was placed with permission from King County Parks Dept.

Congratulations to Kaydekay for claiming the FTF prize!
