What is a Wherigo Cache? According to the "Getting Started
With Geocaching" section of the GC.com website: "Wherigo is a
toolset for creating and playing GPS-enabled adventures in the real
world. By integrating a Wherigo experience, called a cartridge,
with finding a cache, the geocaching hunt can be an even richer
experience. Among other uses, Wherigo allows geocachers to interact
with physical and virtual elements such as objects or characters
while still finding a physical geocache container. A
Wherigo-enabled GPS device is required to play a cartridge."
Basically, you need a GPS or GPS enabled Pocket PC that has the
Wherigo player. Then you need to load the proper cartridge
(found
here) into your device. After that, you are ready to go!
OK, I've got that, what else do I need to know? After that,
you are pretty much ready to go! The cartridge begins in the public
parking area across from the Remick Museum.
Once you have found the cache, please be sure to upload the
completed cartridge to the Wherigo Site!
Enjoy the cache!
It is the first Wherigo cache in New Hampshire!
