La chapelle Notre-dame de Polignan date du XVIe siècle.
Depuis l'extérieur, seul son portail peut attirer votre regard: de style Renaissance, il possède des sculptures identiques à celles des stalles de la cathédrale de Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges. Il est possible qu'il ait été fait par les mêmes sculpteurs.
Quatre personnages y sont représentés : Saint Jean tenant le vase contenant le poison mortel, Marie portant l' Enfant Jésus, le Christ et Saint Vincent, patron de Gourdan.
Mauvaise réception GPS + lieu extrêmement fréquenté.

A "between two periods" cache for a schoolboy from Gourdan who will recognize himself!
The Chapel of Our Lady of Polignan dates from the sixteenth century.
From the outside, only the portal can attract your eye: of Renaissance style, it has sculptures identical to those of the stalls in Saint-Bertrand de Comminges' cathedral. It may have been made by the same sculptors.
Four characters are represented: St. John holding the vessel containing the deadly poison, Mary holding Jesus Child, Christ and St. Vincent, patron saint of Gourdan.
Poor GPS reception + extremely busy spot.
