Historical Marker
This historical marker is labeled: Westside old territorial road 1848-1865
Marks the route that the Daniel Smith homesite was located from 1852-1908 and also the old stage road.
Dedicated in his honor by Oregon Lewis and Clark Chaper Dar Eugene, OR 1950.
Just another piece of history that we would like to share with other cachers; a quick stop on your way to the lake! Please re-cover the cache well.
First to find prize, as per usual is a readymade microcache complete with logbook and baggie. We'd love it if you'd hide in this area, but you can hide it wherever you want.
