Geocache Description:

A Short walkway level beside the harbour.

Ferguson wharf is built up of reclaimed land in mechanics bay. In
the early days Mechanics bay was the main terminal for TEAL airways
(now Air new zealand). The Bay is now home to the WestPac rescue
helecopter and is Aucklands CBD heleport. The Ports of Auckland has
now reclaimed most of the Bay and has created Ferguson Wharf. NZ's
largest container terminal. There is a walkway along the red fence
line of the port. This walkway is a gentle stroll towards the
centre of the harbour. From the cache there are views up the
Waitamata harbour and of the operations of the ports container
terminal. Take the time at GZ to relax and take a breath of sea
air. A great unwinder for any day.
You are looking for a berocca container. Please note that muggles can apear from both sides of the fence. Please ensure the cache is
replaced as you found it to ensure winter storms dont blow it away.
There is no need to clamber over the rocks or climb the fence.
