ShadowAce: It was a fun weekend, but it has ended and another has since gone past. Time to shut her down and clean the camping gear for the next one.

Geocache Description:

10 Years for some, less for others, but fun for ALL!

Come join us for a weekend of fun and friends!

This is a link for a video on YouTube of the 10 minute drive to the camp site from pavement.

We plan on inviting friends and family on a camping trip and why not throw in a bit of GeoCaching celebrations while we are at it?

How often do you hear a company say 'Over XX years of experience' by combining all the years of the employees?

Well, I guess we can say it would be easy to claim over 150 years of caching experience by adding a few folks together and since GroundSpeak is celebrating 10 years of experience, we felt we should all join in and make it a merry celebration!!

Naming off some, nowhere close to all, of our Southern Arizona Geocaching friends we see;

So why not come on out and join in a bit of celebration, a bit of friendship and even a bit of camping!

For some caching is about the numbers, for some it is about the challenge, others do it for the friendship and in consideration of these options we plan to have games and stories as well as some lovely terrain for those who need to get off the seat and on the feet!.

I had to make this somewhat about a number though, a nice pretty number.. So the coordinates are...
N 31 43.210, W 110 43.210! <-- Cute, no?
Yep.. Just a few feet away from a large camping area and we can use this to play "Ground ZERO".

We will be setting out the logbook Saturday morning around 9am though if you come by early I am sure you can find someone to chat with. Tear down and cleanup will begin Sunday morning around 11am.

We look forward to seeing friends, both old and new.

I would like to invite each and all of you to bring a 8.5x11 picture of yourself, a location, or an adventure while geocaching. (printed at home is fine, they do not have to be professional quality framed photographs).

I want to collect them after a group photo and create an album to send to GroundSpeak.

More to come as the date gets closer, however we wanted a placeholder and a calendar marker by getting this submitted. 3/27/10 12:34 pm

N 31 43.289 W 110 43.044 These coordinates are for Campsite #5 turn from the main road.

Campsite #5 is the closest camping to the event coordinates, so if your joining in on the overnight, this would be the best place to setup.

However there are four camp sites before reaching this one and a few more after this if you are desiring a more private camping setup.
There are no facilities, toilets etc in the area, so bring what you need for your group..
FYI: Gardner Canyon Road is a "Street Legal road" Quads/ATV/ etc need to be street legal.. Take this for what you will, just don't say we did not inform you. :-)

Here are links to the Full size Group Photo and The poster. I will leave them on the machine for a while.
